SDH in the UK, a deaf person’s view

I am linking here an interesting blog post from That Deaf Guy, on SDH subtitling in the UK.

It is extremely useful because it contains plenty of recorded examples of subtitling, and also because it deals with SDH subtitling in music programs from a deaf person’s point of view. Yet even if the topic is quite a new one, the post substantially deals with something which is very well known. Even in Great Britain, which is at the forefront as regards SDH in Europe, SDH Quality still remains a debated issue.
